Sometime this morning, this site reached 1.5 million unique visitors, and 2.3 million pageviews.
Cool.
Not to be a killjoy but visits doesn't equal unique visitors. It means people visitted your site 1.5 million times from links (or bookmarks) not deriving from your own site. Page views is this plus people visitting one of your pages from within your page (ie following a link from one entry to another).
This shouldn't take anything away from such a big accomplishment. I myself have to read all y'all cuz' all of my blogging attempts have ended in failure.
Is jealousy allowed here? After nearly a year at this, I finally topped 100,000 page views a few days ago.
Damn, I have a long way to go.
I think the title of this post says more than anything else you've ever written, pet.
Ha! At this rate, we'll bankrupt you by August!
And, Bill, I think Steve means 1.5 million unique visits rather than visitors. Several of us come back, which is after all a good thing!
